Our River South District and other areas are poised to add new mixed-use and high-density multi-family developments. Rental rates for new developments are expected to be around $1,500 per month. Existing rental properties offer a wide range of rental rate options too. Mukwonago’s rapid growth is projected to continue. More than 1,000 new residents are expected by 2025. More than $50 million in new development has arrived in Mukwonago over the last two years.
Retailers enjoy Mukwonago’s strategic location on the I-43 corridor. It positions retailers to capture residents and commuter spending. Our traffic count at the interchange is over 20,000 per day. Counts on Mukwonago’s north end approach 13,000. Mukwonago is the epicenter of the region with our medical center, YMCA, nationally-ranked school district, grocery shopping and much more.
The new industrial park in Mukwonago has 40 acres of developable space with expansion plans up to 200 acres. An 80,000-square-foot Gearbox Express facility anchors the new the business park, strategically located along Interstate 43.
Over the last three years, Mukwonago added over 100 lots and 40 new homes in the $300,000 range and 30 condos in the $400,000 range. This year almost 100 new residential homes broke ground along with an additional 60-plus apartments.
